Pranava

Wall-mount | Om symbol | Double arch | Brass finial | Three-drawer base | LED niche

Pranava is the syllable that precedes all others the sound from which, in Vedic understanding, the universe itself unfolds. It is also the Griha collection's most precisely conceived wall-mounted design, and its most architectural.

A concentric double arch sets the structure: outer frame and inner niche in careful proportion, each drawing the eye toward the other. At the centre of the warm LED-lit niche, a polished brass om symbol is set directly into the marble a detail of great restraint and equal presence. Carved floral vine works the upper corners of the outer frame with just enough ornament to honour the space, and none that overwhelms it.

Three softly curved drawers at the base carry brass knobs that quietly echo the symbol above. The module serves as offering shelf and puja storage in one the practical and the devotional resolved without compromise. Pranava mounts flush to the wall and takes no floor space, yet holds a room with the authority of something much larger. It is, above all, a mandir for the contemporary home for the household where devotion must find room alongside everything else.
