Heritage carving | Tree of life | Elephant columns | Peacock arch | Cabinet base
Tejasvi means luminous, radiant and this is the Griha collection's most elaborately carved piece. It is a complete statement of Makrana craftsmanship at its fullest stretch: a mandir that draws on the full depth of the workshop's historic archive and holds nothing back.
A soaring kalash finial and scrolled acanthus crest crown a wide peacock arch of exceptional detail. The entire back panel is given over to a Tree of Life roses, leaves, and tendrils rendered with the sustained devotional energy of a temple wall. Life-size carved elephants stand at the column bases, bearing the structure as they do at the entrances of ancient temples. The front cornice carries an unbroken chain of carved flowers.
A two-door cabinet at the base provides discreet storage for all puja essentials agarbatti, matchboxes, prasad keeping the sacred space above undisturbed. Tejasvi is for a home that honours the full grandeur of Indian craftsmanship: a piece made to be the centre of a room, and to remain so for generations.
