Twin pyramid-capped fluted columns rise from a stepped plinth, framing a deep inner niche whose reeded back panel glows with a warm recessed LED strip. The light draws the eye into the sanctum, lending the murti a presence that seems to deepen as the room around it dims. Sunflower rosettes carved in relief at the corner base panels add a note of quiet, unhurried joy to a composition that might otherwise be entirely austere.
The proportions of Aarav follow the guidance of the Shilpa Shastras closely, with the height of the sanctum in correct relation to its width. It stands with natural authority in any puja room, yet stands quietly without demanding the room around it. A mandir that knows precisely what it is, and is content to be nothing else.
