Ornate arch | Carved peacock panels | Fluted columns | LED niche | Three-drawer base | Wall-mount
Keki is the peacock and this mandir is built entirely around that image. The peacock holds a rare place in Indian sacred tradition: an emblem of beauty, grace, and divine watchfulness. Here, it becomes the architectural programme of an entire piece.
The sweeping ornamental arch is carved with peacock figures, scrolling foliage, and floral medallions of exceptional intricacy a sustained exercise in Makrana craftsmanship at its most confident. Fluted columns with elaborately carved capitals and bases carry the composition on either side. The inner niche is lit with a warm recessed LED that brings the carvings alive after dark, when the peacock's feathers seem almost to move across the marble.
Three drawers at the base, fitted with brass knobs and separated by a running bead border, provide generous puja storage. Keki is wall-mounted and can be placed at any height in any room. Of all the designs in the Griha collection, it rewards the closest attention the more one looks, the more one finds.
