Kumbh is the sacred vessel the container of nectar, the holder of all that is most precious. As a wall-mounted mandir, it earns that name in full: every surface is given over to the art of adornment, and the effect is one of extraordinary warmth.
An ornate carved floral vine runs the complete perimeter of the outer panel a continuous border of leaves, blossoms, and curling stems of exceptional intricacy. Within it, a softly cusped arch draws the eye toward the LED-lit niche, where a fully bloomed lotus mandala is carved in deep relief at the centre of the back wall. As the day moves, the recessed light shifts across the lotus petals, giving the piece a quiet, living quality.
Three drawers below, fitted with brass knobs, complete the design with the same care found throughout. Kumbh is for the puja corner that asks for beauty at every level and is willing to look closely enough to find it.
